Teej Puja

On Teej, similar to Karva Chauth, the mother traditionally sends a baya or gift to her daughter. The puja is conducted in the morning, and the baya, comprising a variety of foodstuffs, is arranged on a thaali. This thaali is positioned at a designated place of worship adorned with a decorated chowk (square), where an idol or picture of Parvati, the Hindu goddess, is installed.
